I’m a singer and i have gerd. This is not good because reflux can eventually damage the esophogus. I know that reflux means chest pain in the middle of chest and acid rolling up in throat. Well i always have chest pains right over my heart, never in the middle. Is this heartburn? And is it possible for acid to travel all the way to my vocal chords without realizing it?

I’ve been having difficulty swallowing and went to see an ENT. Apparently, I have acid reflux. I’m just wondering how, exactly, this causes difficulty swallowing? I should have asked my doctor but I guess I was so preoccupied I forgot to ask.

My sister is having a constant pain in her ears and her throat is swollen she sometimes burst into a dry cough . Her doctor said it is acid reflux he put her on antibiotics , she took it for two weeks she has seen very little results .

I’ve been having bad acid reflux for a couple of days and was wondering if there are any home remedies because i have been eating tums like candy to keep it down but after about a half hour the tums dont take effect anymore and it comes back up please help.

Hi there. If you are wanting some info to help with your acid reflux, I\’m guessing it is because you suffer from acid reflux and want to avoid the heartburn that seems to come with most meals. A lot of the information on the subject is about treating your symptoms, and not curing the problem.

I have acid reflux and from time to time I get a really bad flare up. This is one of those, my own fault. I tomato and cucumber salad for dinner, I love it but it doesnt love me.

I tired taking some Prilosec OTC but that didnt do anything.

I can’t seem to clear my throat for about 15 minutes after each meal or snack I eat. The internet says it could be acid reflux but I can’t afford to go to the doctors right now so I don’t know. Can anyone help?

I just had a scope yesterday & this was their great revelation…
I think they are wacko! So far, they thought I had bronchitis, candida of the bronchil tubes, asthma, and now acid reflux.

How am I suppose to know which of the four diagnosis it is!?!?!
I can cough up moer than a cup ful at one session of coughing. And I cough for hours on end.
